copied. Transcribed and copied information submitted to the Crazy Mountain

Marriage 3 Jan. 195, p. 5 c. 2. Marriage
Mr. Harry L. Raiff and Miss Della Cellars, last evening at the residence of Mr.
and Mrs. H.O. Kellogg. (FS)
Birth 17 Jan. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. A daughter
was born to Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Perrine, on Monday morning and in consequence
they rejoice.
Marriage 24 Jan. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. Married
On Tuesday, Jan. 15, 1895, at St. Paul, Minn., and by Rev. J.J. Keane, Mr. O.B.
Nevin and Miss Marion Tintinger, both of this section, were united in marriage.
The happy couple took the train shortly after the ceremony and arrived here
Friday morning, being now happily domiciled at the ranch of the groom on
Sweetgrass.
Marriage 24 Jan. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. Ed. L.
Holliday of Martinsdale, and Miss Teresa L. Tintinger of Sweetgrass, went up to
Livingston from this place on Monday morning. Monday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
L. Holliday returned.
Marriage 24 Jan. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. On the
20th inst., in the hotel parlor of Lamb Bros. at Melville, Park county, Montana,
in the presence of a few select friends, Mr. Wm. McMahon and Miss Louise C.
Dahl, all of Melville. Justice W.G. Strong officiating.
Marriage 28 Feb. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. Andrew O.
Forsythe of Howie, and Miss Jennie Wheaton of this place, were married at
Livingston on Tuesday.
Birth 28 Feb. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. A 9 pound
daughter arrived in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Busha, on Tuesday morning.
Death 28 Feb. 1895, p. 5 c. 3. The infant
child of W.A. Wilber, who resides about two miles from town on the east side of
the Boulder, died Tuesday and was buried in the cemetery at this place
yesterday.
Marriage 7 Mar. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. A wedding
took place last Thursday evening, the principals thereto being Martin Stephens
and Mrs. Mary T. Dooley. The ceremony was performed by Justice J.E. Rees at
this residence.

On 8 March 1895, Mr. John H. Frost of Deer creek and Miss Amelia LaDu of Fish
creek, all within the boundary of the new County of Sweetgrass, Justice W.G.

Marriage 21 Mar. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. Wm. H.
Budd and Miss Carrie Duff, both of this place, were married at the parsonage of
the Methodist church in Livingston on Tuesday, Rev. John Hosking officiating.
Death 4 Apr. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. The infant
child of Mr. and Mrs. Booth, who live east of the Boulder, died Monday and was
buried in the cemetery here on Tuesday.
Marriage 11 Apr. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. A
marriage license was issued by Clerk of the Court Skillman on April 4th, to
Frederick L. Baker and Annie Peterson.
Death 18 Apr. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. The infant
son, aged 3 months, of Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Pratt died last evening. The funeral
will take place this afternoon.
Marriage 2 May 1895, p. 5 c. 3. Mrs.
William Anderson, sister of Marshall brothers, former residents of Melville and
Hunter Hot Springs, eloped a few days ago from her home on Mission Creek, with
a man named Eldridge who arrived in this state a few months ago from Salt Lake,
Utah, and was largely instrumental in starting a lodge of the Maccabees in
Livingston. Mrs. Anderson left a kind husband and several children and is
believed to be with her consort in Wyoming.
Death 9 May 1895, p. 5 c. 1. The infant
child, aged about one year, of Mr. and Mrs. Mat Grasfield, who reside on Swamp
Creek, died Friday morning and was buried in the cemetery at this place
Saturday.
Divorce 9 May 1895, p. 5 c. 3. District
Court Hans Rudd vs. Cristena Rudd. Default of defendant entered and decree of
divorce granted.
Death 16 May 1895, p. 5 c.1. Mrs. Jacob
Erickson, who resided on Horse creek, near the East Boulder, died Saturday. The
funeral took place from the residence of her brother-in-law, Ed Erickson, in
this place, Sunday afternoon the remains being interred in the Big Timber
cemetery.
Birth 23 May 1895, p. 5 c. 1. Born To Mr.
and Mrs. J.F. Simmons, May 17, a daughter, Bessie Evelyn.
Death 23 May 1895, p. 5 c. 1. Lois, aged
16, daughter of T.G. Shipton who resides on the East Boulder, died on
Wednesday, the 15th, the cause of death being inflammation of the bowels. The
funeral took place of Thursday, the remains being laid to rest in the Big
Timber cemetery.
Marriage 23 May 1895, p. 5. The ceremony
binding together Miss Sarah C. Morris of London, Eng., and River S. Brown of
Big Elk, was performed Saturday in this city by Justice O.M. Lanphear.
Death 30 May 1895, p. 5 c. 3. Death of Krajnok
John Krajnok, the Bohemian miner who was injured last Thursday morning by the
cars, died Friday evening. He was injured internally, and while conscious until
the end, suffered great agony from his injuries. No word was heard from his
relatives or friends and he was buried in the cemetery at this place Saturday
at county expense, Rev. Hannah and a few citizens of Big timber performing the
last sad rites, for one who was a stranger in a strange land lived, suffered
and died.
Death 30 May 1895, p. 5 c. 4. He Fell Down
Dead Leopold Scranier, Tuesday morning while working on the railroad at Grey
Cliff. The funeral took place from the section house with burial in the
railroad right-of-way. (FS)
Death 6 June 1895, p. 1 c. 5. Was it murder
or suicide? Death of Silas Van Wagner, a carpenter aged 45-55. His body was
found on White Beaver creek. (FS)
Death 6 June 1895, p. 5 c. 2. Word has been
received here of the death of John Gara, a former resident. Gara has been
living at Bozeman for some months and was a wheat buyer for the Bozeman Milling
Co. Last week he was thrown off a horse and badly injured, death resulting
Sunday.
Death 6 June 1895, p. 5 c. 3. The second
child of Thomas Egeland, died yesterday morning from pneumonia. She was about 4
years of age and a very bright child. The funeral will take place at 2 oclock
this afternoon.
Birth 13 June 1895, p. 5 c. 1. H.O.C.
Andrews and wife, who reside near McLeod, are rejoicing over the birth, Friday
morning, of a daughter.
Death 20 June 1895, p. 5 c. 2. Died At
12:30 p.m., today, James S. Budd, of a stroke. Deceased was 47 years, 9 months
and 27 days. Funeral to take place tomorrow. (FS)
Death 27 June 1895, p. 3 c. 3. Died Ruth,
the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Hall, aged 5 months and 29 days, died
at 1:30 this morning, cause of death being tuberculous. It was an exceeding
bright, winsome baby and her death comes as a shock to the bereaved parents, to
whom the sincere and heartfelt sympathies of all are extended. The funeral will
take place tomorrow, Friday, at 10 a.m., from the residence.

Allen-Little At the residence of Mrs. W.Y. Fisher, on Tuesday evening, June
25th, 1895, the Rev. J.W. Hannah officiating, Harry C. Allen and Bessie M. Little.

July 1, Hugh Morrow and Mentie Cellars at the home of H.O. Kellogg, with Rev.

Death 18 July 1895, p. 5 c. 3. Died Hazel
Yule, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. G. Armstrong, aged about 22 months,
died last evening at seven oclock, after an illness of several weeks,
resulting from a complication of diseases. The funeral will take place at 2
oclock this afternoon from the residence.

C.G. Brown were made happy Friday by the arrival into their home of a boy.

Notes From Nye Mr. John Hudson and Mrs. Malinda Stewart were married at
Billings, the 4th inst. A reception followed by a dance was tendered the happy
couple at their home in Fishtail on the 7th inst.
Marriage 22 Aug. 1895, p. 5 c. 3. Married
On Sunday afternoon, August 18, 1895, Mr. W.W. Fell of Big Timber, and Miss
Florence Taylor, of Springdale were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev.
W.J. Hannah officiating. The happy young couple are living in the Anderson
residence on First Avenue.
Death 5 Sept. 1895, p. 4 c. 2. Post: W.H.
Redfield died Thursday at the residence of F.J. Redfield, on the Boulder, aged
74 years. He was an old timer in Livingston having come to this city in 1884.
For a number of years he was justice of the peace for this precinct. He was an
old soldier and a member of the G.A.R. post. The funeral was held Saturday
afternoon from the Congregational Church and was largely attended by members of
the G.A.R. and other friends. The funeral took place at Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Redfield leaves a married daughter at Cokedale and four sons in this city.

On Aug. 30th a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Norman J. Armstrong.
P.4 c. 2. On Saturday Aug. 31st, the same
event occurred in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Stocker on Sweetgrass.
P.4 c. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wagner also
rejoiced Tuesday, Sep. 2d. over the birth of a boy into their home on the
Boulder.
P.4 c. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Clouse were
made happy about two weeks ago over the birth of a son in their home.
Birth 26 Sept. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. Mr. and Mrs.
T.A. Kellogg are the proud and happy parents of a son, who arrived on Monday.
Marriage 26 Sept. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. A
marriage license was granted yesterday by District Clerk Skillman to Harry
Ertberg and Francis Bishop of Rosebud.
Marriage 26 Sept. 1895, p. 5 c. 2. Ben
Rostum, an old-timer in this country and who has been back at his old home in
Norway for the last two years, arrived in Melville a few days ago. Mr. Rostum
was married while away and his wife remains in the old country until he decides
whether to locate in Montana or go back to Norway to live.
Death 3 Oct. 1895, p. 1 c. 4. News From Nye
During the storm of last Saturday an old man by the name of Chany perished in
the snow. He and his nephew, a cripple, and another man attempted to reach a
cabin near Hubbels camp, when within a half mile of the cabin, Mr. Chany
became so exhausted that he sat down, telling the others to go and get a fire
started, and that he would follow after he rested. They went on, and Mr. Cheny
not appearing, in the morning, they went back to look for him, and found him
dead where they had left him. He leaves a crippled wife, and one son about 15.
Birth 3 Oct. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. A son was
born Tuesday morning into the household of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Dundas.
Death 3 Oct. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. It turns out
that the right name of Harris Fargo, who has been residing at Hunters Hot
Springs for the past several years and who recently committed suicide at that
place, was Horace Fenton and that he was wanted at Cleveland, Ohio, for wife
murder.
Death 10 Oct. 1895, p. 5 c. 1. The infant
child, aged eighteen months, of Edward Erickson, died Friday afternoon. The
funeral took place Saturday.
Birth 24 Oct. 1895, p. 5 c. 3. A little
daughter arrived into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Webster near Hunters
Hot Springs, on Tuesday, the 22nd.
Death 7 Nov. 1895, p. 5 c. 4. Death Nov.
3rd, 1895, Estine, wife of Dr. John H. Moore, aged 30 years, 10 month and one
day, of consumption. (FS)
Marriage 21 Nov. 1895, p. 5 c. 4. A marriage
license was issued Saturday by District Clerk Skillman to Chas. Morris and
Alice Ellison. Col. 5 They were married Saturday evening at the residence of
Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Davis on Big Timber creek.
Death 28 Nov. 1895, p. 5 c. 5. Died
Agnes, aged eight months, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob L. Raystad,
died at an early hour Sunday morning at the home of her parents on Big Timber
creek. The funeral took place yesterday from the Congregational church, with
the services and ceremonies of the Lutheran church, the Rev. Pederson of
Melville officiating.
Marriage 26 Dec. 1895, p. 5 c. 4. On
Monday, the 23rd, at the residence of District Clerk Skillman, Mr. Ben. S.
Hollopeter of this city and Miss Annie Wetzel of Oxford, Indiana, were united
in the bonds of matrimony, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Hannah. The
bride having arrived here Sunday morning from her eastern home was met here by
Mr. Hollopeter, who resides on a fine place six miles south of here.
